Anders Jensen
Kira and Anders have worked together since 2012 and are both professionally and privately a couple.
Apart from the day-to-day absurdities of living together they enjoy dancing on stage as well as through all other aspects of life.
Both live and train in Cologne, Germany.
I have been passionate about acrobatics since my childhood.
I used to practise vaulting (acrobatics on horseback)
and competed on an
international level.
In the youthcircus Zappelino in Cologne I really got a taste for the circus and expanded my knowledge of partner acrobatics and circus pedagogic.
I have been an active performer since 2006.
First performing mainly with
partner acrobatics and later
expanded my practice to include aerial acrobatics and
duo Chinese pole.
Im also very passionate about using circus for children living in development countries or as refugees and it is has become an important part of my life
Throughout my life I have been interested in the performing arts.
As a child I practised music and theatre, and I later fell in love with the circus arts.
I graduated from Codarts Circus arts where I specialised in
hand-to-hand acrobatics and Chinese pole.
I also love juggling/ manipulating rings,
contemporary dance,
playing drums and guitar.
Following my graduation I have continued my development working for several circus and dance companies in The Netherlands and Germany.
